Mini Markethings Issue 22
Missed a newsletter but I felt like it was better not to write than to write something that was half-baked. Here's how I avoid content gaps otherwise.
✨ Highlight of the week:
Sorry, I just couldn’t bring myself to write last week.
It wasn’t like I had no motivation.
Heck, I was way too motivated.
I even had all my content planned out. All I had to do was sit down and write this newsletter.
BUT I already had written more than 5,000 words last week itself and was a little bit drained out physically.
And whatever I was going to write out to you was going to be lacklustre. I didn’t want that.
I shared this with some of my friends who said:
“Manisha, if YOU get tired of writing, imagine how much effort it takes for us to just write basic stuff?”
I know, I know.
Planning content can be hard, let alone actually writing it out.
And no matter what type of content you want to create, there is some writing involved:
Instagram posts need captions
Videos and podcasts need scripts
Blog posts are, well, written content
Even if you record your audio and get it transcribed, there’s still a bit of reworking and editing of words needed.
I KNOW it takes time to do this. This is why I’m currently working on something to help you with your caption writing journey.

Content planning tips:
Last year, I struggled a lot with constantly coming up with new ideas.
This year, I decided to strategise better.
I didn’t want content gaps (like the one last week). And this planning process actually made it address it.
Fatigue, on the other hand, didn’t come announced.
Create a strategy based on different focus topics, but remember that you’re only human. Find what works for you best.
