I was having a chat with a friend about his business.
He was asking me for some marketing tips.
Being my favourite topic, I obviously motored on with ideas I thought would help his business.
After about five minutes of going on and on, I noticed he was very quiet.
“Hey, you okay?”
“Oh, yea.”
He wasn’t okay. He was overwhelmed.
After all, there are so many possibilities and marketing best practices that he could use. But as a solopreneur, he had limited time, budget and resources to try them all.
I laughed and told him to excuse my excitement. I then narrowed it down to just three things he can choose from.

This feeling of overwhelmingness is exactly why I started the Mini Marketing Hacks Instagram profile.
Although I launched it late 2019, the COVID-19 period made it all more important for me to continue building on the profile.
Many of the clients who hire me for content writing work needed help with their overall marketing plans. Their budgets had been cut, some were going bust and I felt like I had to step up and help in the smallest way possible.
Thus the name: Mini Marketing.
